thank you, strange passer-by

so i was walking down the street today, just walking, minding my own business, when out of the blue somebody came around the corner and just walked right by me. minding his own business. thats when i realized, holy smack, is it ever chilly outside! i mean, its friggin cold! like a gazillion below zero! so i went inside.

I had that happen too once. Except it wan't a stranger. It was this creepy old man who used to buy corndogs from the bakery and sit and eat them in the meat section trying to give all the lobsters in the lobster tank distinctive names based on Roman gods. He would name them and forget and start again. Did I mention it was n a supermarket, not on the street? Anyway, I think he was on his fourth corndog, which I think he got for free by screaming "Take that back Zeus!" at one of the lobsters and one of the supermarket employees took pity on the lobster and coaxed the old man away with a corndog, saying "Here Mr. Sheatzle, it's warm!" Anyway He walked by me and I got a feeling right? Like I was chilly. but I really wasn't chilly because I'm pretty sure the temperature in the supermarket was 71 degrees. I used to work for a HVAC company that contracted to that supermarket. But I got this feeling like I was cold. Maybe it was from carrying around a huge bucket of icecream for my sister's daughter's best friend's belated birthday sleepover, but maybe not.
Anyway, I know how you feel. My experience was remarkably, incredibly, unsurpassedly and eerily similar to yours, except after that I went outside...which is different.
